Review by Dodie Hodgkinson
This book is set in contemporary India. It tells the story of three intertwined lives. Jivan is a young Muslim girl, falsely accused of being a terrorist as a result of a careless comment on Facebook. Her fate lies in the hands of two people who could prove her innocence but who have their own agenda. The resulting events address class, fate, prejudice, the justice system and corruption in India.
